Development Coordinator

Full-Time 

Based In NY and hybrid.

 

 

DESCRIPTION

Razom is seeking a dedicated, organized and mission driven individual to join the Development & Communications team to help in the creation and implementation of strategies that ensure sustainability and organizational growth. 

The ideal candidate should be a people person with excellent communication skills and be able to solve problems. This role supports all elements of our departmental operations including project management, engagement with internal and external stakeholders (including volunteers), working on special events, managing 

development team calendars, assisting with data platforms related to communications, social media, gift processing and donor relations, and managing inventory and materials.

 

REPORTS TO

Vice President of Development and Director of Development & Engagement. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Raising funds for our organization. 

Managing Donations Inbox. 

Supporting Director of Development & Engagement (DODE) with communication platforms and media alerts; creating analysis reports as requested; maintaining media lists. 

Supporting Vice President of Development (VPD), & DODE with major donor meeting scheduling and other calendaring. 

Supporting VPD & DODE with expense reporting and budget tracking; travel logistics for the team. 

Creating monthly reports and slide decks as assigned. 

Working with the DODE & Events Manager in support of 10th Anniversary priority events; help with engagement of 3rd party fundraising. 

Working with the Donor Stewardship Manager in support of donor stewardship events/activities. 

Supporting Digital Media Manager with special projects and assignments.

Working with Prospect Manager/Data Specialist in maintaining data integrity; assisting with data entry as needed. 

Maintaining publications inventory and merchandise. 

Ability to work with external vendors. 

Ability to maintain and build relationships with our current donors and volunteers. 

Occasional attendance at evening and weekend events.

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

1-3+ years experience in non-profit development or college graduate with relevant internship and/or work experience. 

Database management experience. 

Computer literacy is key. 

Ability to work collaboratively across organizational lines. 

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 

Flexibility and willingness to go the extra mile. 

Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.

Experience with meeting and events planning; coordinating mailing lists. Proficiency of Ukrainian language/knowledge of Ukrainian audiences not required but a strong plus.

 

LOGISTICS AND BENEFITS 

Razom offers generous paid time off and competitive benefits packages. New York City-based but a hybrid role is possible. 

U.S. work authorization required. 

 

SALARY RANGE: $50,000 – $70,000 

Final salary based on experience and qualifications.
