Razom was founded in 2014 in the aftermath of Ukraine’s Revolution of Dignity. Since then, our volunteer-driven organization has benefitted from the contributions of hundreds of individuals from diverse backgrounds and walks of life. Through their generous donation of time, knowledge, expertise, and passion, we have been able to support numerous projects and initiatives aimed at improving the lives of Ukrainians. Our name, Razom, which means “together” in Ukrainian, reflects our commitment to the power of community in effecting positive change. We believe that by working together, we can help unleash Ukraine’s full potential, both for its own citizens and for the world at large.
We maintain a relentless focus on the needs on the ground to support Ukraine and on opportunities to amplify voices from Ukraine in conversations in the United States. We operate in Ukraine as Razom Dlia Ukraini (Разом Для України) and we collaborate with organizations and individuals so that we can deliver the highest impact.
Since russia’s full-scale invasion began on February 24th, 2022, we have been amazed at the outpouring of support from volunteers, donors, and organizations. Thanks to the generosity of over 170,000 donors, we have received over $75 million in funding, as well as numerous in-kind donations. Over the course of 2022, Razom has been able to deploy over $50 million in emergency response programs across Ukraine.
Currently, Razom is transitioning from a fully volunteer-run to a hybrid volunteer-staff model to ensure sustainability of all the organization’s activities. Volunteers remain an essential part of Razom’s identity, and we continue to welcome everyone who wants to join us in our mission to support Ukraine.
