Razom’s earliest efforts involved fundraising to deliver clothing, food, and protective implements to the protesters in the Maidan throughout the winter of 2014. Our humanitarian projects have evolved to adapt to the changing needs and situation in Ukraine. Our methods, however, remain the same. With participants both in the United States and in Ukraine, we hope to identify areas of need where we can provide materials, supplies, or expertise. Razom Aid has been involved in a variety of activities in the past from delivering water filters to civilians in eastern Ukraine suffering from the ongoing military conflict to equipping various hospitals throughout the country in conjunction with “Support Hospitals in Ukraine.” We are currently focusing on two projects: Toy Drive and The Co-Pilot Project.
Toy Drive Project

Toy Drive provides assistance for displaced people, orphans, and families of Ukrainian military who died or were hurt in action. Our volunteers in Ukraine learn about the needs on the ground and pass the information on to us. Razom, with the cooperation of numerous partners, then organizes Toy Drives around the U.S. and mails package with humanitarian aid to the families.

The Co-Pilot Project

CPP aims to raise the bar of neurosurgical training in Ukraine, providing high-quality care to uninsured Ukrainian patients in the process. As the team-lead, Dr.Tomycz plans to support selected neurosurgical centers not only in the OR but also on the wards, and assist in devising and formalizing a program for resident training.
